Lockdown Browser For Students Canvas
- Download the latest Emory installer for Respondus LockDown Browser. Troubleshooting Respondus LockDown Browser. Blank screen during exam A blank screen indicates that the browser has lost connectivity with your institution's server, and the webpage cannot load into the browser. In most cases, you should be able to leave your exam, shut down.
- Download and install LockDown Browser from the Respondus Download LockDown Browser page. When installation is complete, launch LockDown Browser. It should redirect automatically to the IU Canvas home page. If prompted, log in with your IU username and passphrase. Navigate to the appropriate quiz, and then click Take the Quiz.
- (A) Download and install Respondus LockDown Browser. (B) Test their Respondus LockDown Browsers before attempting graded quizzes in course sites. Click 'Join this Course' at the top right of the screen. Click 'Enroll in Course.' (This is not a graded course! It's just for helping students with Respondus!) Download Respondus.

Respondus LockDown Browser is a custom browser that locks down your computer when taking a quiz. Canvas course site instructors manage Respondus LockDown settings from the LockDown Browser Dashboard in Course Navigation.
