XCloud on PC and Mac: Use Xbox streaming with Windows 10 and Apple The xCloud service is part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and allows you to stream Xbox games to your smartphone. You can also use the offer on a PC with Windows 10 or a Mac, but you need additional free software. Project xCloud was the name of our public technology preview for cloud gaming that began in September 2019. After gathering feedback from players from around the world during the preview, we built the technology into Xbox Game Pass Ultimate so you can play over 100 Xbox console games on the devices you already have, directly from the cloud.
Update to the latest version of macOS. Choose Apple menu > About This Mac > Software Update. If you’re using macOS Mojave or earlier, choose Apple menu > App Store. See if there’s an update available.

Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Apple ID. If you’re using macOS Mojave or earlier, click iCloud. Enter your Apple ID. When you sign in, iCloud is turned on automatically.
